7/25 Tampa vs. Bradenton - Game 3 (of three) - George M. Steinbrenner Field (Tampa, FL) - 6:30 p.m.

LAST NIGHT: The Tarpons batted around for five runs in the 1st and added two more in the 2nd before coasting to an 8-3 win to even the series with Bradenton...Dom Thompson-Williams (1-for-4, 2RBI, R), Donny Sands (3-for-4, 2 2B's, RBI, 2R) and Angel Aguilar (2-for-4, 3RBI) each had RBI singles in the 1st...Isiah Gilliam (2-for-4, HR, 2B, BB, 2RBI, 2R) crushed a two-run blast in the 2nd (his 12th HR)...RHP Garrett Whitlock (W, 4-2) allowed a three-run homer by Adrian Valerio in the 5th (5.1IP, 4H, 3ER, 4BB, 3K, HR, 90P/53S)...Aguilar added an RBI single in the 5th...LHP Trevor Lane (1.2IP, 0H, 1BB, 1K) and RHP Matt Frawley (2.0IP, 0H, 0BB, 0K) logged scoreless outings to complete the game.

AGUILAR STAYS HOT: Angel Aguilar has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, including multi-hit games in six of his last seven. The 23-year-old is batting .414 (12-for-29) with 8RBI over his last seven games.

TORRES COMPLETES REHAB: Gleyber Torres (0-for-2, BB, 2R) got three plate appearances as the DH on Tuesday and scored two runs before leaving the game in the 6th. The 21-year-old batted .333 (3-for-9, 2B, 2BB, 3R) in three rehab games with the Tarpons before returning to the New York Yankees in time for this afternoon's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg.

VS. BRADENTON: Tonight will be the ninth of 16 games scheduled between the Tampa Tarpons and Bradenton Marauders. The Tarpons currently lead the season-series, 6-2, including 3-2 at GMS Field and 3-0 at LECOM Park. In six games against the Marauders, Diego Castillo is batting .389 (7-for-18) with 6R, 2 doubles, 7RBI, 5BB and 1SB.

WAGS PROMOTED: On Monday, INF Brandon Wagner was promoted to Double-A Trenton. The 22-year-old leaves Tampa after batting .270 with 20HR and 57RBI in 87 games with the Tarpons. At the time of his promotion, Wagner led the Florida State League in total bases (155), ranked second in home runs, RBI and slugging percentage (.510), and ranked fourth in both runs scored (52) and walks (43).

STRIKEOUT KINGS: Nick Green (4K), Kaleb Ort (2K) and Matt Wivinis (5K) combined for 11 strikeouts on Monday. Tampa pitchers have tallied double-digit strikeouts in 45 games this season, with the Tarpons going 25-20 in such games. Tampa, by far, leads the Florida State League in strikeouts, totaling 956K entering today. That is 88K more than the team ranked second (Clearwater - 853K). Tampa is averaging 9.47 K-per-game and is on pace for 1,325K, which would crush its own FSL single-season strikeout record set last season with 1,215K.

BABY BOMBERS: The Tarpons currently lead the league with 82 home runs. No other team has more than 73.

SENSLEY'S SOLOS: Prior to joining the Tarpons, Steven Sensley hit 10 home runs in 67 games with Single-A Charleston. The 22-year-old has since added three more homers with Tampa. All 13 of Sensley's home runs have been with the bases empty.

FOR STARTERS: RHP Adonis Rosa (10-3-1, 3.95) will make his 14th start (19th appearance). Last time out, made a quality stat and earned the win at Charlotte on 7/18 (6.0IP, 9H, 3ER, 2BB, 5K, 99P/61S)...is 7-3 with a 4.14 ERA (63.0IP, 69H, 35R/29ER, 23BB, 60K, 6HR, 3HB) in 13 starts...is 3-0 with a 3.38 ERA (21.1IP, 21H, 8ER, 5BB, 18K) in six games as a reliever...named a 2018 FSL Mid-Season All-Star.

VS. BRADENTON: Logged his longest start of the season and earned the win at Bradenton on 4/23 (6.2IP, 6H, 4ER, 1BB, 5K, HR, 98P/63S).

2017: Pitched primarily for Single-A Charleston, going 4-3 with two saves and a 3.04 ERA (83.0IP, 77H, 35R/28ER, 14BB, 79K, 8HR) in 21 games (eight starts)...was promoted to Tampa on 8/8 and won all three starts while posting a 4.32 ERA (16.2IP, 15H, 8ER, 4BB, 16K, 1HR)...also made two spot starts for Triple-A Scranton/WB on 6/17-G2 at Buffalo (W, 6.0IP, 6H, 0R, 0BB, 4K) and 7/18-G2 vs. Norfolk (ND, 6.0IP, 3H, 2ER, 1BB, 3K, 1HR)...overall, was 8-3 with two saves and a 3.06 ERA (111.2IP, 101H, 45R/38ER, 19BB, 102K, 10HR) in 26 games (13 starts)...had a 1.64 ERA (44.0IP, 8ER) in 13 outings as a reliever...also tossed 6.0 scoreless relief innings (4H, 0BB, 7K) in Game 1 of the FSL Semifinal Series at Dunedin...following the season, pitched for Cibao of the Dominican Winter League, going 1-1 with a 1.82 ERA (24.2IP, 14H, 6R/5ER, 8BB, 21K, 1HR) in nine games (three starts).
