The defending 2003 ArenaCup champion Tulsa Talons have opened training camp at the Tulsa Convention Center, and the team is primed and ready to defend its title.
New head coach Ken Matous, along with defensive coordinator Mike Esposito and secondary coach Ian Cooper, began camp with a meeting and physicals yesterday, and two-a-days today. Camp will last until Saturday, March 27th, at which time the Talons roster of 21 will be finalized.
All training camp practices are open to the media. Interviews with the players and coaches can be arranged by calling Matt Caddy, the Talons' Director of Public Relations, at 918-664-4453.
The Tulsa Talons will kick off their 5th af2 campaign on Saturday, April 3rd, hosting the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz.
