TUKWILA, WASH. - After dropping a 2-1 road result at LAFC2 on July 23, Tacoma Defiance (8-4-6, 33 points) hosts Whitecaps FC 2 (8-7-4, 30 points) Sunday at Starfire Stadium (12:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com). The two sides met earlier this year, with Whitecaps FC 2 winning 1-0 on May 21 at Swangard Stadium.

Tacoma's loss to LAFC2 last weekend snapped its seven-match unbeaten streak (4-0-3). However, Defiance sits still in first place in the Pacific Division with 33 points, three points above Whitecaps FC 2, with one game in hand.

Following the match against Whitecaps FC 2, Defiance travels to take on Portland Timbers2 on Friday, August 4 at Providence Park (5:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
