RENTON, WASH. - After falling 5-2 to Ventura County FC, Tacoma Defiance (2-1-0, 6 points) returns home to host LAFC2 (2-0-1, 8 points) on Sunday, April 7 at Starfire Stadium (5:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
Defiance sits in third place in the Pacific Division with six points, tied with Whitecaps FC 2. LAFC2 sits in second place with eight points. Tacoma and LAFC2 played twice in 2023, drawing 1-1 on May 26 with Tacoma winning the ensuing shootout, followed by a 2-1 LAFC2 win on July 23.
Of note, Sounders FC defender Jonathan Bell is eligible for selection for Sunday's match via MLS loan.
Following the contest, Defiance hits the road to take on North Texas SC on Sunday, April 14 at Choctaw Stadium (5:30 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
