TACOMA, WASH. - Following a 2-1 win over Houston Dynamo 2 last weekend, Tacoma Defiance (2-1-1, 8 points) takes on LA Galaxy II (1-3-1, 5 points) Sunday evening at Starfire Stadium (8:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
Tonight's match marks the first time the two teams have faced off in MLS NEXT Pro, as Galaxy II joined the league this year. However, the two teams previously met when they played in the USL Championship prior to both joining MLS NEXT Pro.
Following tonight's contest, Tacoma travels to Utah to take on Real Monarchs on Friday, May 5 (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
