TUKWILA, WASH. - After defeating Houston Dynamo 2 4-3 in the Western Conference Quarterfinals on October 1, Tacoma Defiance hosts Austin FC II in the Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday, October 8 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
Defiance and Austin faced off twice in the regular season, with Austin FC II winning 2-1 on April 7 and Tacoma defeating the Texas side 1-0 on June 25.
Should Defiance defeat Austin, it would face the winner of Colorado Rapids 2 and Earthquakes II in the Western Conference Final. Tacoma would host the lower-seeded Earthquakes II.
