TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (6-2-3, 23 points) travels north of the border to take on Whitecaps FC 2 (5-2-4, 21 points) Sunday afternoon at Swangard Stadium (2:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com). Whitecaps FC 2 previously defeated Tacoma by a score of 2-1 on April 17 at Starfire Stadium
The defeat to Whitecaps FC 2 was the last time Tacoma has lost a game, currently riding a seven-match unbeaten streak (5-0-2) and moving into third place in the Western Conference standings. Wade Webber's side currently leads all of MLS NEXT Pro in goals scored (29) and goal differential (+17).
Following Sunday's match, Tacoma returns home to take on Colorado Rapids 2 on Saturday, June 18 (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).
