
Tacoma Defiance Faces Timbers2 Tuesday Evening at Cheney Stadium

TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (4-2-3, 17 points) hosts Timbers2 (0-6-2, 4 points) during its first match of 2022 at Cheney Stadium tonight (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com). Defiance is unbeaten in its last five matches (3-0-2) heading into the match, while Timbers2 is coming off a 3-1 loss at St. Louis City 2 last weekend. Tacoma currently sits in fifth place in the Western Conference standings with 17 points, while Timbers2 sits in 10th place with four points.
Defiance today announced that it has agreed to a MLS NEXT Pro Standard Loan with Sounders FC defender Jimmy Medranda, making him eligible to appear for Tacoma this evening and throughout the 2022 season.
Following Sunday's match, Wade Webber's side has has another match at Cheney Stadium, hosting Earthquakes II on Saturday, June 4 (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).
