Kansas City Monarchs News Release
TROIS-RIVIERES, CANADA - The Kansas City T-Bones, blasted two home-runs, and beat the Aigles 8-2, Friday night.
The T-Bones, started with a three-run blast from Adam Bailiey in the first inning, and never looked back Friday night. With the T-Bones up 5-2 in the ninth inning, Joe Rapp smoked his fourth home-run of the season, driving in Vladimir Frias and Bailey, to cap an 8-2 win.
T-Bones starting pitcher Kyle Brady (1-1) with his first appearance since May, pitched five innings and struck out six, and allowed two runs on just three hits. Josh Tols pitched two scoreless innings, and Fernando Hernandez picked up his third save of the season, with two perfect innings.
Ryan Cavan, Nate Tenbrink and Adam Bailey all had three hits for Kansas City.
The T-Bones (15-15) have won four of the first five games on the Can-Am schedule, and look to starting pitcher Kyle DeVore tomorrow night, against Trois-Rivieres (13-17)..
The T-Bones return home to CommuintyAmerica Ballpark on July 3rd, tickets are available by calling the Providence Medical Center Box Office at CommunityAmerica Ballpark at 913-328-5618.
