
T-Bones to Hold Tryouts on Friday Rain Or Shine (Or Snow)

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - In spite of the wintry weather, the Kansas City T-Bones will hold their annual open tryouts on Friday, May 3, as scheduled.
Interested players should report to CommunityAmerica Ballpark by 8 a.m. for registration and orientation by manager Kenny Hook. At that time, players will be directed to an indoor facility in the Kansas City area for the workout.
The tryout marks the start of spring training for the T-Bones. The club begins practice on Saturday, with its first exhibition game on Monday, May 6, at 7:05 p.m. at CommunityAmerica Ballpark against the Lee's Summit Monarchs.
The regular-season home opener is scheduled for May 18 against the Wichita Wingnuts. Tickets are available now by calling the Providence Medical Center Box Office at CommunityAmerica Ballpark at 913-328-5618.
