Kansas City Monarchs News Release

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones announced the signing of Connor Graham, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound right-hand pitcher from Bowling Green, Ohio.

Graham, 27, who played at Miami University of Ohio, started his professional career after the Colorado Rockies picked him in the fifth round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft. In his six professional seasons, Graham split time between the Colorado and Cleveland organizations, which included the double-A affiliate for the Indians in 2009 and 2010.

Graham spent the 2012 season and the first part of 2013 with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. Last season, he went 2-2 with a 4.36 ERA. In 64 innings for the Ducks, he allowed 40 runs on 63 hits, with 66 strikeouts and 44 walks.

Graham will be in uniform tonight as the T-Bones begin a four-game homestand against Sioux Falls. He is expected to join the starting rotation later this week.

To make room on the roster for Graham, Aaron Meade was moved to the disabled list.
