Published on April 10, 2017 under Western Hockey League (WHL)
Seattle Thunderbirds News Release
The Seattle Thunderbirds officially return home Tuesday for the first time since Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs against Tri-City on Saturday, March 25. At times this weekend, Xfinity Arena in Everett felt a little like a home-away-from-home for the T-Birds.
"It was awesome hearing our fan support", said T-Bird Captain Scott Eansor when Andy Eide of 710 ESPN asked him about the Seattle fans who attended Games 1 & 2 in Everett. "Not going to lie, definitely heard our fans and it gave us a lift".
Home-ice advantage will be in full effect on Tuesday as the T-Birds return home for Game 3 at 7:05pm. Tickets are still available for the Director's Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday game.
2-for-1 tickets and select half price concessions are always available for Tuesday games as the T-Birds look to extend their playoff winning streak to 7 consecutive games and take a 3-0 lead in their Western Conference Semifinal series.
Our awesome friends at Doxon Toyota of Auburn will once again provide Thunderbirds Bang Banners for all fans on Tuesday. The ShoWare Center is expected to provide an enthusiastic atmosphere for the much-anticipated return to home ice!
