Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC Captain Luke Vercollone

Colorado Springs, Colo. - Luke Vercollone will play with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC for the 2016 season!
The Switchbacks picked up Vercollone's (#4) contract option, securing the team captain for another season.
Vercollone says he's honored to be part of the Switchbacks 2016 season. "I am very excited about the 2016 season with the Switchbacks," said Vercollone. "We made a statement last season and look to build off of that success and bring home a title this season. I know we are putting together a strong squad and I am honored to be a part of it."
In the inaugural season, veteran Vercollone led the Switchbacks in the regular season with 14 goals and 9 assists. He earned All-USL First Team honors and was named a finalist for MVP. He also went a perfect 8-for-8 in penalty kicks.
Vercollone is the first player being announced for 2016, and was the first signee and first announced for the inaugural 2015 season.
