Macon Mayhem and Great American Cookies

Two great teams came together Thursday night when members of the Macon Mayhem met with the creative geniuses behind Great American Cookies.
Ryan Michel and Mike Montagna from the Mayhem spent the evening greeting fans and cookie lovers at the store located in the Shoppes at River Crossing. While folks purchased their favorite treat, they got information on the Mayhem. took pictures with and got autographs from the players. They were also able to register for free Mayhem tickets, courtesy of Great American Cookies.
Keith Dykes owner and president of Great American Cookies thought the night was a smashing success.
"This was great for our customers to get something a little extra when they came in tonight," he said.
Great American Cookies has become known for creating masterpieces on cookie cakes. They displayed the creativity with Mac the Mayhem mascot recreated in icing on a large chocolate chip cookie. They also sold a number of frosted cookies featuring the Mayhem's secondary MM logo.
The Mayhem play at Huntsville on Sunday and return home to face Pensacola on February 19.
