KEENE, N.H. - The Keene Swamp Bats and the Ocean State Waves suspended last night's game after an hour and a half rain delay. The score was tied at one heading into the top of the second inning.
The Waves started the scoring in the first inning when Evan Ocella (Holy Cross) hit a home run to left field to give Ocean State the early 1-0 lead.
The Swamp Bats came right back in the bottom of the first inning when Robbie Coman (Virginia) reached on a fielder's choice scoring Ryan Summers (Louisville) after they loaded the bases to start the frame.
The game will resume from the top of the second on July 31 at 6:30 pm.
