
Sussex rolls to a 7-3 victory over the Pride

(Nashua, NH, June 21, 2006) - The Sussex Skyhawks scored six runs in the fifth inning on Wednesday night and then cruised to a 7-3 win over the Nashua Pride before a gathering of 952 fans at Historic Holman Stadium.
Sussex DH Rich Daley had the big bat for the Skyhawks (17-9), going three for four including a two-run double in the fifth. Marcos Agramonte had a two-run single in the uprising.
Nashua's offense was paced by rookie Bryan Duplissie out of Franklin Pierce College. The East Swanzey native went three-for-four and belted his first professional home run.
Sussex starter Kevin Olsen (4-0) worked six innings to post his fourth win. He allowed five hits and one run, striking out seven and not walking a batter.
David Lipson (0-1), the second of five Nashua (10-14) hurlers suffered the loss by allowing three runs on one hits, three walks and a hit batsman.
The Skyhawks will go for a three-game sweep of the series on Thursday night in Nashua at 7:05 with Raul Valdes (1-1) on the mound for the Pride and Brian Ford (1-0) for Sussex in a match-up of lefthanders.
