Starting pitcher Junior Guerrero pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run while striking out five to pick up the win and help Worcester past Quebec 10-1. The win improved Guerrero's record to 4-2 on the season. For Worcester at the plate, four different batters had three hits in the game. LF Josh Beauregard, 1B Chris Colabello and C Onix Mercado combined for six RBI and nine of the team's 18 hits. 3B Mick Kurhan went 1-for-3 and drove in the Capitales' lone run to lead Quebec at the plate in the losing cause.

New Haven pounded out 14 hits, including three homeruns, en route to an 11-4 romp of New Jersey. LF Orlando Encarnacion and SS Chas Terni combined for four hits, two homeruns and six RBI to lead the Cutters at the plate. New Haven DH Thomari Story-Harden also added some power with his fourth homerun of the year. Starting pitcher Tim Keinath picked up the win, allowing just one run over seven innings of work. For New Jersey, C Clay Kuklick went 2-for-4 with a homerun and three RBI to lead the Jackals offensively. 1B Bill Peavey also added his sixth homer of the year in the losing effort.

Sussex scored six of its seven runs in the fifth inning en route to the victory over Nashua. DH Rich Daly went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead Sussex at the plate. Starting pitcher Kevin Olsen went six innings and allowed just one run on five hits while striking out seven to pick up the win. The win improves Olsen's record to 4-0 on the season. LF Bryan Duplissie led Nashua at the plate with three hits, a homerun and an RBI.

North Shore 5, Brockton 4

2B Ryan Bethel went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI to lead North Shore past Brockton 5-4. The Spirit erased a two run ninth inning Rox lead to take the victory. SS Chris Rowan added a hit and two RBI for the Spirit as well. Relief pitcher Erik Drown remained unbeaten, improving to 3-0, after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth to pick up the win. Despite his team losing, 2B Mike Torres was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 for the Rox.
