
Superchick to Perform on November 8

Peoria, Ill. (October 30, 2008) - The Peoria Rivermen have announced that the band Superchick will headline the concert on Saturday, Nov. 8 as part of Church Night at Carver Arena. Stellar Kart, Article One, and Starlight Platoon will also perform.
The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Article One and Starlight Platoon performing before the Rivermen take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7:00 p.m. Stellar Kart will open for Superchick following the conclusion of the game.
Superchick's first four albums have combined for 700,000 copies sold, more than 70 film, television and videogame song placements, and five No. 1 singles. The Chicago-based band is comprised of vocalist Tricia Brock, vocalist/guitarist Melissa Brock, bassist/vocalist Matt Daly, lead guitarist Dave Ghazarian, drummer Brandon Estelle, and keyboardist/DJ/producer Max Hsu.
