Sundogs to Team Up with Local Fire Fighters to Raise Money for Arizona Children's Burn Camp

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League are teaming up with United Yavapai Fire Fighters Local 3066 for the second-straight season this Friday, Feb. 22 as the Sundogs take on the New Mexico Scorpions to raise money for the Foundation for Burns and Trauma and the Arizona Children's Burn Camp, 'Camp Courage'.

Fire fighters will be on hand at Tim's Toyota Center before the game, during both intermissions and after the game to collect donations. The Arizona Sundogs Foundation will also make a donation to the Foundation for Burns and Trauma and 'Camp Courage' on the ice during the first intermission.

Camp Courage is held at Pine Summit Camp in Prescott, Ariz. each summer and hosts children between the ages of 6-15. The campers are all burn survivors that spend a week taking part in activities such as camping, swimming, fishing, mountain biking and hiking.

United Yavapai Fire Fighters Local 3066 is made up of career fire fighters from the Prescott Fire Department, Central Yavapai Fire District, Chino Valley Fire District, Mayer Fire District and the Black Canyon City Fire Department.
