Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs and McWhite's North American Van Lines welcomed the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona to the Tim's Toyota Center Monday to donate toys to underprivileged children in Northern Arizona.
The Boys and Girls Clubs' visit started with a complete tour of the new Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. The tour ended in the Sundogs locker room where the entire team was waiting with toy trucks donated by McWhite's North American Van Lines. The children were also given two tickets to an upcoming Sundogs' home game.
Participating children were identified and selected by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona and the Prescott Valley Police Department.
"The event was tremendous," said Sundogs Vice President Brent Thiessen. "The look on the children's faces when they walked into the locker room was memorable. We're happy to be able to have helped with such a worthy cause. I'm not sure who enjoyed the toy trucks more, the players or the kids," added Thiessen.
