Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League completed their distribution of nearly 1,000 stuffed animals originally collected during the team's first-ever 'Teddy Bear Toss' on December 19.
A portion of the stuffed animals were donated to Toys for Tots in conjunction with the club's annual partnership in late-December.
The Sundogs recently completed their distribution, allocating the remaining stuffed animals to Prevent Child Abuse Arizona (PCA Arizona) and Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) of Northern Arizona.
Both organizations deal directly with children suffering from neglect, abuse and immediate crisis events and work to begin the healing process by intervening and minimizing the lasting effects and preventing further suffering.
