
Sunday's Tampa Opener Postponed, Double Dip on Monday

FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 24, 2012) - Sunday afternoon's series opener between the Fort Myers Miracle and the Tampa Yankees has been postponed because of persistent precipitation and unplayable field conditions due to Tropical Depression Debby.
The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader of two seven inning games to be played on Monday with game one beginning at 5:05 p.m. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the completion of game one.
Gates at Hammond Stadium will open at 4 p.m. Fans with tickets to Sunday's game can exchange them for any non-fireworks home game for the rest of the 2012 schedule. Fans with tickets to Monday's game can attend both games.
