Sunday's RiverKings game is first Family Day

SOUTHAVEN --- The Memphis RiverKings are always family friendly, but they are going even further for this Sunday's game with the Rocky Mountain Rage at the DeSoto Civic. It will be the first of three Sunday home games this season for the RiverKings, not to mention their first game ever versus the expansion Rocky Mountain Rage.

The game, like all other Sunday home games this season, will have a convenient night-before-a-school-night 5:05 p.m. face off. Families can also take advantage of the Family Four Pack for the game. For $35, they can purchase two Red Level adult tickets and two Red Level kids (12 and under) tickets. That is a $13 savings over the regular box office rate.

The Red Level at the DCC consists of the upper corners of the rink in the lower deck and the side sections of the upper deck. Every seat in the DCC arena is a good one to watch a hockey game. The Family Four Pack tickets can only be purchased at the DCC box office.

Fans not coming to game on Sunday can listen to the game live on 96.1 FM WYYL. The radio broadcast for this one game has been moved from the RiverKings' usual radio home Sports56 WHBQ to 96.1. The pre-game starts at 4:45 with the face off at 5:05 on Sunday.
