
Sunday's GreenJackets vs. Braves Doubleheader Postponed

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A affiliate of the 2015 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, have announced that Sunday's doubleheader match up between the visiting Rome Braves and Augusta GreenJackets been postponed due to inclement weather and field conditions.
Weather took over the last two days of the GreenJackets home opening series. Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th games have been postponed due to heavy rain that had occurred. Both games that have been postponed will be made up next weekend while the GreenJackets are in Rome for a four game series starting Thursday, April 23rd. Next Friday, April 24th there will be a doubleheader in Rome starting at 5:05pm and a doubleheader Sunday, April 26th starting at 2:00pm.
The Augusta GreenJackets first homestand of the 2015 season will continue this Monday, April 20th at 7:05pm against the Charleston RiverDogs. The RiverDogs are coming into Augusta with a record of 6-4 prior to their game this Sunday.
The three remaining games of the homestand feature two great promotional nights and a day game on Wednesday, April 22nd. Monday will be the first Feed Your face Monday of the 2015 season presented by WRDW Channel 12. All fans can enjoy all-you-can-eat food from ballpark concessions stands on select menu items from the time gates open until the end of the 6th inning. Monday's Feed Your Face menu will be announced on the team's website and social media pages. New for 2015 from 6:00PM - 7:00PM we will have the PBR Pregame from the AHMEN Korner Bar & Grill featuring $2 PBR's. Monday night is also Donate Life Night with LifeLink of Georgia! During post game, fans will have a chance to win a prize with Launch-A-Ball. With a game time of 7:05pm and gates opening at 6:00pm
Tuesday, April 21st is the first SweetWater BOGO Bevs Tuesday! Fans can enjoy two-for-one pricing on soft drinks and draft beers throughout the game. Come on out to the ballpark and enjoy two-for-one pricing on drinks and post-game Launch-A-Ball! Game time 7:05pm with gates opening at 6:00pm
Wednesday, April 22nd the GreenJackets will host their Baseball in Education Day Game. CSRA schools are invited to come to Lake Olmstead Stadium and experience an out of class learning experience! Each student will receive a Baseball in Education Packet as they enter the game. Wednesday, April 22nd is also the first Silver Jackets Club game, when members of the Silver Jackets club can play Baseball Bingo presented by Georgia Natural Gas. Fans will have several chances to win prizes by participating in Baseball Bingo and our post-game Launch-A-Ball. Grab your co-workers and come out and enjoy this Business Persons Special and grab lunch a ball-game with the GreenJackets for this special day game! First pitch is scheduled for 10:35am and gates will open to guests at 9:35pm.
