Rockford RiverHawks News Release
Sauget, Ill. - For the second straight day, the visiting Rockford RiverHawks and Gateway Grizzlies were rained out.
After Saturday's game was postponed, a doubleheader for Sunday was originally scheduled. At approximately 3:00 p.m. Sunday, the doubleheader was changed to a single game because of the persistent rain.
Shortly before the game's scheduled start time of 6:05 p.m., it was called off.
The two rain-out games will be made up as parts of doubleheaders when Gateway visits Rockford from Thursday, August 25 to Saturday, August 27.
The âHawks don't return to action until Tuesday as Monday is a league-wide day off.

The 'Hawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub.
