
Sun Senior Dance Team Auditions Set

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 10, 2009) - The Connecticut Sun has announced auditions for the second season of the senior dance team, which will perform at five or more home games during the 2009 season.
Auditions are open to men and women over the age of 50 and will take place on Friday, March 27th in the Oneida Room at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and auditions will run from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
All dancers will learn and perform a short hip-hop routine in groups for a judging panel. The auditions are open to the public and friends and family are encouraged to attend. Dancers must be able to commit to schedule practices and Connecticut Sun home games.
Participants must wear dance attire and dance/tennis shoes with non-marking soles. For the auditions, dancers must provide a $20 non-refundable registration fee. The complete list of all dancers chosen for the 2009 squad will be posted on www.connecticutsun.com on Monday, March 30th.
