Sun Announce Senior Dance Team

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun has announced the newest addition to the roster of performance teams with a senior dance team for the 2008 season.
The Sun senior dance team is forming based upon the success of the Solar Power Dance Team as well as the Jr. Munchkins Dance Team presented by Dunkin Donuts. The Senior Sun will perform at five or more home games during the 2008 season.
Auditions, which are open to men and women over the age of 50, will take place on Sunday, April 20th in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center. Registration begins at noon and auditions will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Senior Sun squad will be run by Andrea Ricci, director and choreographer of the Solar Power Dance Team, as well as Emily Sasson, a five-year Solar Power member and a dance teacher in Madison, Conn.
