Sugar Skulls Re-Sign Local Product, Add a Wide Receiver

TUCSON, ARIZONA - The Tucson Sugar Skulls have re-signed Cam Gaddis, a defensive back from Santa Rita High School and Pima Community College, as well as wide receiver Koree Reed, who will be new to the team.

Gaddis, 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, started seven games for the Sugar Skulls last year and tied for the team lead with three interceptions. He had 23 solo tackles. He has four years of indoor football experience including time with the Duke City Gladiators who will be new to the Indoor Football League in 2020. Gaddis graduated from Santa Rita High School in 2010 and played at Pima Community College in 2011 and 2012.

Reed is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver from Baldwinsville, New York. In just two years at NCAA Division III Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, he had 2,673 receiving yards and 28 touchdown catches, numbers that put him in the top 10 in both categories in school history.

The Sugar Skulls are entering their second season as a franchise in the IFL after becoming the first team in league history to make the playoffs in its first year.

The Sugar Skulls will play seven regular-season home games at the Tucson Arena beginning in March with the regular season running through June. The IFL playoffs will begin in early July. The 2020 IFL schedule is expected to be released later this month.

Season tickets for the 2020 season are currently on sale to the general public with reduced prices from the 2019 season in several sections of the arena.
