Stunners announce two-day tryout camp

St. Louis, MO. The ABA St. Louis Stunners announced today that the organization will host a two day tryout camp for individuals that desire to play professional basketball. The tryout camp is scheduled for August 25 & 26, 2006 at The Heights Center, located at 8001 Dale Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63117.

According to Earl Childress, the Stunners GM, "During this tryout camp we expect a high level of competition. We already have a few players from the ABA University registered for the camp." The ABA University is a twelve week program which teaches the game of professional basketball both on and off the court.

Players interested in tryout out for the Stunners must register. Registration will begin Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Heights Center, Monday-Friday during the hours 9am-11am. Registrations can also be done by mail or online at www.stlstunners.com. Space is limited and players will be admitted into the tryout on a first come-first served basis.

There is a $150.00 registration fee for players that pre-register by August 18th and $175.00 any time after. Walk-ups will be accepted at the door if space is available. The tryout camp will be open only to players, coaching staff and the media. No spectators or other persons will be allowed in the tryout camp.
