Sioux City Musketeers News Release
(Sioux City, IA) - A pair of second period goals were the difference as Fargo topped the Sioux City Musketeers 2-0 on Sunday.
Fargo opened the scoring 59 seconds into the second period when defenseman Owen Gallatin received a pass from Aaron Huglen and punched it into the back of the net. Nearly six minutes later Huglen scored a goal of his own and that would be more than enough for netminder Brennan Boynton, who finished with 33 saves. Akira Schmid stopped 22 shots for the Musketeers.
Sioux City drops to 19-20-1 and returns to action Friday night in Fargo.
