Strong Island Sound to hold dance team audition

Patchogue, NY -- The Strong Island Sound, member of the American Basketball Association, is pleased to announce the first audition for the 2006-2007 Sound Dancers Dance Team. Looking to add to the already vast amount of entertainment on game nights, the team announced the formation of the "Sound Dancers."

According to Michele Wuestman, the team's Director of Basketball Operations, "The Sound Dancers will not only add to our exciting in-game experience, but will also participate in community events."

Applications can be found on the Strong Island Sound dance page. Auditions will take place at Dance Electra in Wading River, NY on August 24th at 7pm. Sharon Kramer, now director of the Sound Dancers, will be putting together a team of not only great dancers but also a team that will have a strong commitment to the community and embodying the pride associated with the Sound organization. Ms. Kramer is looking for women who are professional and well rounded in their dance background and will be willing to meet and interact with the community.
