SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have signed defensive back Daquawn Brown to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.

Brown (6-0, 188, Southeast Oklahoma) joins San Diego for his first season as of member of the IFL.

"Daquawn shows great instinct in the defensive secondary," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "Beyond his field awareness and his ability to cover ground in a hurry, he can really blanket a receive with his man coverage skills."

Prior to his indoor football career, Brown completed his collegiate career at Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SE) in 2018. He received Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording five tackles and five pass breakups as he helped the Savage Storm to their second shutout of the season. Prior to SE, Daquawn played two seasons at Washington State University where racked up 132 tackles and 16 pass breakups in 25 games. He was also named All-Pac 12 honorable mention in 2014 and True Freshman All-American second team by 247Sports.com in 2013.

Originally from Los Angeles, California Brown attended Dorsey High School. As a senior he was named All-City Section first team, All-Coliseum League first team and All-Region first team by the Los Angeles Times. He was also selected to play in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, named Most Outstanding Defensive Player at the Cal-State All-America game, ranked the 33rd cornerback in the country and 55th overall prospect in California by Rivals.com.
