San Diego Strike Force News Release
SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have re-signed offensive lineman Jonte Berry to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.
Jonte (6-5, 320, Northwestern Oklahoma State) rejoins San Diego for his second season as a member of the IFL. He saw action in seven games last season after joining the Strike Force for the second half of the season.
"Jonte was a shot in the arm for our team in the second half of the season both on the field and in the locker room," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "We're excited to have him back and know that the experience he gained last season will serve him well entering camp in 2020."
Prior to his IFL career, Berry participated in The Spring League, a league that began play in 2017 and serves as an instructional league and showcase for professional football talent. While there he was one of the main players that protected former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.
A native of Missouri City, Texas, he played collegiately at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and one season at Kilgore College.
