
Stoudt Stellar in Debut as Travs Roll Cardinals

North Little Rock, AR - Levi Stoudt pitched seven innings and allowed just one run in his Double-A debut as the Arkansas Travelers defeated the Springfield Cardinals, 5-1 on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park. He earned the win throwing 88 pitches and struck out six Cardinals. Zach DeLoach and Bobby Honeyman had three hits each and Joe Rizzo drove in a pair of runs.
Moments That Mattered
* Rizzo drove in a run in the bottom of the second with an opposite field hit to put the Travs up early.
* After Springfield scored in the fourth to tie the game, the Travs answered with three in the bottom half of the inning. Jordan Cowan tripled home the first run of the inning and then Rizzo followed with an RBI double.
