Summerside Storm News Release
(Summerside, PE) Led by Avery Smith with 20 points, the Summerside STORM pushed their NBL record to 3-0 to start the season with a 103-94 win over the Moncton Miracles Saturday night at the Coliseum in Moncton.
Chris Cayole chipped in with 16 points while Greg Plummer had 14 for the winners. Darrell Wonge and Devin Sweetny each scored 19 points to lead the Moncton attack.
Moncton had a two point lead after the first quarter but the STORM pulled ahead quickly in the second and never looked back.
The STORM play four more road games before coming back to Credit Union Place in Summerside Friday November 23rd to play the Miracles.
