Sioux Falls Storm News Release
With only 400 tickets left for this weekend's Sioux Falls Storm and Sioux City Bandits game, the Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is extremely pleased to announce that this Saturday night's game will be taped delayed and televised Sunday, June 23 at 7:00 PM on KCPO. Local television station, KCPO, will tape Saturday night's Interstate 29 rivalry game and then replay the game Sunday night at 7:00 PM. KCPO is a local television station and can be seen on broadcast channel 26 and on more than a 100 cable systems in South Dakota (Sioux Falls cable 21). Check your local cable listings for KCPO's channel position. "We are excited for the opportunity to place our product on television and into markets where some people have never seen Sioux Falls Storm football before. With the reach KCPO has, it should make for a great tape delayed broadcast and draw even more interest in indoor football," says General Manager, Colin Steen.
The Sioux Falls and the Sioux City Bandits square off at the Storm Shelter this Saturday night, June 25, for a 7:05 PM kick-off. The Bandits bring their Division leading 10-2 record to Sioux Falls for the much anticipated re-match from Week 5 of the UIF season when the Storm lost in a heartbreaker, 50-43. Saturday night's game will be themed "Mullet Night," with 1,500 Storm Jersey coozies as the give-a-way. Stewart's School will take part in the theme at the tailgate party at Buffalo Wild Wings (3-6 PM) and at the game by cutting mullet haircuts. Participants that get involved will receive a chance to win 2006 Storm Season Tickets!
Individual tickets for Storm home games are also on sale now at the Arena box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or any Ticketmaster location.
