
Storm to Battle Force in Preseason Contest

RALSTON, NE. - The Tri-City Storm will battle the Fargo Force this afternoon at Liberty First Credit Union Arena in the team's final game of the "Lancer Bowl" preseason showcase. The Storm opened the event with a 4-2 win over the Sioux Falls Stampede on Friday afternoon, but fell by a final score of 5-4 yesterday evening to the Waterloo Black Hawks. Tri-City will return to Liberty First Credit Union Arena on Wednesday, September 13th for a road game against the Omaha Lancers. The Storm will conclude its five-game exhibition schedule on Saturday, September 16th in a home game at the Viaero Center against the Lancers. Puck drop for today's battle between the Storm and the Force is set for 12:00pm CT.
Tri-City (1-1-0-0) surrendered two separate two-goal leads in yesterday's preseason game loss to the Waterloo Black Hawks. Cameron Briere (3), and Carmelo Crandell scored the Storm's goals during the matchup. Dylan Johnson dropped the game in net for the Storm after stopping 16 of Waterloo's 21 shots on goal. Tri-City's powerplay finished the game 1/7 and is currently 2/10 during the exhibition season. The Storm's penalty kill was 3/5 in yesterday's loss, and is 6/8 overall on the weekend. Tri-City outshot Waterloo 37-21 in yesterday's loss, but was outshot by Sioux Falls 18-17 in Friday's victory.
Fargo (2-0-0-0) seeks to remain perfect in this year's preseason schedule in today's matchup with Tri-City following back-to-back wins over the Waterloo Black Hawks and Omaha Lancers to open play in the "Lancer Bowl" showcase. The Force collected a two-goal victory over the Black Hawks on Friday, and defeated the Lancers by three goals last night. Goal scorers for Fargo through the opening two games of the preseason include Mac Swanson (2), Jake Fisher (2), Zam Plante (2), Iiro Hakkarainen, Michael La Starza, Brian Lonergan, and Nick Wolfenberg. Anton Castro, Eric Olsson, and Hampton Slukynsky have shared time in net for the Force.
Single-game tickets for the 24th season in organizational history are on sale now. Season Tickets for the 2023-2024 regular season are currently available and may be purchased by contacting a member of the Storm Sales Team. Season Ticket Holders will receive free tickets for the Storm's home preseason game against the Omaha Lancers on Saturday, September 16th. The tickets will be available for Season Ticket Holders on the night of the game. Ticket prices for the Storm's preseason home game at the Viaero Center are $10 for Adults, and $8 for Kids in all areas of the venue except for glass. First Row Glass Seats will cost $15 for Adults, and $10 for Kids for the home preseason game.
