KEARNEY, NE - The Omaha Lancers were shutout by the Tri-City Storm on Friday night by a final score of 6-0 in game one of a three-game weekend series.

The scoring started in the second period where the Storm added 5 unanswered goals. Villegas (6:03), Richard (6:49), O'Hara (14:09), Villegas (17:12), and Eernisse (19:35) all scored on Jakub Dobes. The Storm outshot the Lancers 29 to 11 after the second frame.

In the third period, the Lancers called on Grant Riley in aid of Jakub Dobes in the pipes. The Storm found the back of the net on Riley when Montgomery (15:29) netted the final goal of the night for a 6-0 final. The Lancers were outshot 30 to 11.

The Lancers are now 13-10 on the year with 26 points and sit at second in the USHL West.

The Lancers and Storm return to action for game two of the three-game weekend series tomorrow at Ralston Arena. The puck drops at 6:05 PM. All of the action is on MixLR and HockeyTV.
