Storm sends Danilics to NAHL

KEARNEY – The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced Thursday morning that forward Raimonds Danilics (pronounced Ray-monds Dan-ill-ich) has been traded to the Texas Tornadoes of the North American Hockey League for future considerations.

Danilics, a native of Riga, Lativa, played seven games as a forward for the Storm this season. He scored two goals and had no assists for two points. He also had six penalty minutes.

Danilics was taken in the 2003 National Hockey League entry draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was selected in the eighth round.

The Storm roster is down to 22 players. The USHL allows each team to have 23 players on their rosters. The Storm is on the road this weekend with a pair of games against Green Bay. Friday's game starts at 8:05 p.m. and Saturday's game begins at 5:05 p.m.
