Storm Looks to Build Momentum against Barnstormers

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (3-3) take on the Iowa Barnstormers (3-2) on Friday, April 29 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The show is set to begin at 6:45 PM.

The game is presented by Frontier Climbing & Fitness and it is College Night. College students are invited to bring their school ID for a ticket to the game along with free food at the pre-game tailgate, cash giveaways and prizes throughout the game.

The Storm has lost in the two prior contests against the Barnstormers this season, one at home and one away. Sioux Falls looks to keep momentum going after their 49-27 win at home last week against the Bay Area Panthers. Quarterback Dalton Sneed completed 9-of-10 passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Nate Chavious had four rushing touchdowns and ran for 75 yards on 17 attempts. Linebackers Paris Taylor led the way with nine tackles and Undraez Lilly had two sacks on the night.

The Barnstormer come off a 22-36 loss to the Massachusetts Pirates where their quarterback Darius-James Peterson went 13 for 29 with 136 passing yards and 100 rushing yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Wide receiver Dom Mcneil had seven catches for 55 yards and one touchdown. Baldwin, McBorrough, and Lawrence had six tackles each and Beaton had 1 sack on the night.

Individual Storm game tickets are on sale at the KELOLAND Box Office or by calling the Storm office at 605-838-9009. The Sioux Falls Storm will have an ASL interpreter at every home game for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community; seats are recommended in sections 124, 101 and 102.
