
Storm Hand out Annual Awards

KEARNEY, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm handed out their annual awards for the 2012-13 season on Thursday night at their end of season banquet at the Viaero Event Center.
Brian Ward headlined the awards, being named the most valuable player. Ward has scored 51 points in 40 games on 22 goals and 29 assists.
Other notable award winners included Trevor Moore, who won the award for the best forward and Johnny Hrabovsky who was named best defenseman.

Rookie of the Year - Nolan Gluchowski
Most Improved Player - Joel L'Esperance
Coach's Award - Michael Vecchione
Unsung Hero Award - Ryan McMurphy
Grinder of the Year - Cutler Martin
Community Service Award - Eli May
Best Defenseman - Johnny Hrabovsky
Best Forward - Trevor Moore
Most Valuable Player - Brian Ward
The Storm will conclude the season this weekend, when they face-off with the Lincoln Stars in a home-and-home series. The battle starts on Friday at the IceBox in Lincoln and shifts back to the Viaero Events Center on Saturday. Both games will start at 7:05 p.m.
