Storm Gear Up for Littler's Return

KEARNEY - Nebraska's Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League are gearing up for the return of former head coach Bliss Littler. Littler will return on Monday, October 13th with the rival Omaha Lancers. Littler was the head coach of the Storm from 2003-2008. Littler compiled a 164-112-28 record and led the Storm to the Anderson Cup championship and a berth in the Clark Cup Finals during the 2003-04 season.

This will be the second regular season match-up between former coach Bliss Littler and new head coach Tom Rudrud. The two worked together as head coach and assistant coach for the Storm from 2003-2008. In the team's pre-season contest, Omaha defeated the Storm 6-4 at the Mid-America Center. Tri-City and Omaha will meet for their first regular season game in Omaha on Saturday before returning to Kearney for a special Monday night game on October 13th.
