Storm Announce Ticket Packages for 2011-12 Season

KEARNEY, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm has announced ticket package information for its 2011-12 hockey season, including new pricing levels for children.

Season tickets start as low as $13 per seat and include reserved seats to each of the Storm's 30 home games at the Viaero Event Center in Kearney.

Two price levels are available for adult season tickets: $390 for standard seating and $450 for premier seats, which are rows one through five.

Based on the popularity of Storm hockey with young fans, the Storm has added new price options for children age 12 and under. When paired with an adult season-ticket purchase, a children's ticket can be purchased for $150. Children's rates decrease $50 for each additional ticket purchased, with the second child's ticket priced at $100 and the third child's cost being $50.

Other packages offer fans the flexibility to choose from a 15-game half-season plan starting at $195 or a 10-game flex pack for $135. Both packages allow fans to choose games of their choice.

"Our retention among current season ticket holders is high," said team President Greg Shea. "At the same time, we need to continue to grow our fan base and find new season ticket holders. We think the value that comes with being a Storm season ticket holder has never been better."

Storm season ticket buyers receive added benefits such as:

- Extra ticket vouchers with their season ticket book

- Discounts on merchandise in the Storm Store

- Discounted playoff tickets

- Exclusive season ticket holder events

- Ticket Recycle Program, which allows you to exchange unused tickets to future games.

Shea said the popular ticket recycling program provides flexibility to fans who might have to miss some games during the season.

"The recycling program has been a big hit with our season ticket holders," said Shea. "It is our way of making sure the money fans spend on tickets never goes to waste. With little effort, you should be able to miss some games during the season and still use all of the tickets you paid for by the end of the season."

All season ticket packages currently are on sale by calling 308.338.8011, 308.338.8809 or visiting the Event Center box office. Single-game tickets go on sale later this summer when the Storm's schedule is released.

Single-game prices are $14 for standard seating and $16 for premier seats, with game day walkup ticket pricing being $15 and $17, respectively.
