Tri-City Storm News Release
KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced Monday that it has added Daniel Heath to the active roster indefinitely. Heath is on the Storm's Future's List and was called up for two games on a temporary basis earlier in December.
Heath joins the Storm after playing most recently for PF Chang's U-18 triple A team in Phoenix, Arizona. He is considered by many to be one of the top born 1990 defensemen in the country and has already committed to play collegiate hockey in 2009 for Minnesota State University.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right handed shooting defenseman will wear number 24 for the Storm. Last Monday was Heath's official return to the active lineup and he made an immediate impact scoring a goal in the second period of Tri-City's loss to Lincoln.
