STONE CRABS FALL TO MIRACLE 3-2

After a wild 13-12 win on Tuesday, the Stone Crabs fell a run short on Wednesday, losing 3-2 to the Miracle. Charlotte couldn't solve Brusdar Graterol, who turned in 7+ innings of one-run ball for Fort Myers. Robbie Tenerowicz delivered a two-run double in the eighth, but the Stone Crabs couldn't get anything more against Miracle closer Adam Bray. All three games in this week's crucial series have been decided by one run.

CLUTCH CRABS

The Stone Crabs continue to fare much better in close games lately than they did earlier in the season. The Stone Crabs entered June 9 with a 4-12 record in one-run games. Since then, they've gone 20-11 in games decided by two runs or less, walking off on their opponent six times.

DOUBLE DIPPING

The Stone Crabs have hit more doubles (249) than everyone else in the rest of the league by at least 41 (Dunedin - 208).
