
Stockton Kings Beat Canton Charge 119-111 to Remain Undefeated at Home

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (5-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, defeated the Canton Charge (6-2), the NBA G League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, 119-111 to help the Kings remain undefeated at home. Four players scored in double figures for the Kings including guards Gabe Vincent (33 points) and Cody Demps (29 points) who combined for 62 points. Forward Kevin Young added a double-double scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in his first game with the Stockton Kings.
Vincent had the game-high of 33 points, shooting 11-of-24 from the field and 7-of-15 from three-point range as he also added seven assists and five rebounds for Stockton. Canton was led by forwards Levi Randolph and Malik Newman who both scored 24 points for the Charge.
Demps scored 10 of his 29 points in the first quarter. Stockton saw as much as a 10-point lead in the first half. Demps and Vincent both finished the first half with double figures to get Stockton ahead 52-43.
In the third quarter Canton forward Levi Randolph scored 13 of his 24 points. Vincent scored 17 points in the third quarter as he shot 6-of-8 from the field and 5-of-6 from three-point range to help Stockton finish the quarter ahead 86-73. Canton guard Malik Newman added 18 points in the fourth quarter.
Stockton saw their biggest lead of the night at the 10-minute mark of the fourth quarter when they led 98-76. Canton was able to bring the score to 110-106 with less than a minute remaining in regulation but Stockton remained ahead to finish the game.
Stockton forward Isiah Pineiro scored 18 points and 11 rebounds, with nine of them from the defensive end.
The Stockton Kings are back home Friday, November 29 to host the Agua Caliente Clippers. The team will wear special theme jerseys to be auctioned off for 209 Night as they celebrate the City of Stockton. All proceeds from the jerseys will benefit the Reinvent Stockton Foundation.
