GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Eight players scored in double figures on Wednesday night to help lead the Drive (7-3) to a dominating 127-104 over the Erie BayHawks (3-6). The game started somewhat slow, but Grand Rapids turned up the heat midway through the second quarter which helped them to shoot 54% from the field and 50% from the three-point line (14-28) on the night.

It was a total team effort that led the Drive to victory after dropping Monday's contest that snapped their 5-game winning streak. Donta Hall was a threat in the paint all night for Grand Rapids, earning yet another double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, 7 rebounds coming on the offensive end. Pistons rookie Sekou Doumbouya racked up 18 points, shooting 4-5 from the three, and added 7 rebounds. Jordan Bone was just shy of a double-double with 14 points and 9 assists. Louis King added 11 points and 5 rebounds to the mix and Craig Sword contributed 10 points. Three Drive players came in hot off the bench including Pe'Shon Howard (14 points & 5 rebounds), Todd Withers (13 points) and Khalil Iverson (12 points). Tra-Deon Hollins also contributed 12 assists off the bench and Adam Woodbury had a solid 9 points & 10 rebounds for the home team.

Pelicans two-way player Josh Gray was the star for the BayHawks all night, earning another impressive double-double with 31 points, 10 assists and 3 rebounds. Center Kavell Bigby-Williams powered his way to another double-double as well with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Two-way player Zylan Cheatham followed up with 18 points & 7 rebounds.

The intensity continued to pick up in the third quarter for the Drive thanks to their ability to move the ball efficiently on offense, resulting in 34 assists compared to 23 for the BayHawks. The Drive also picked up the intensity defensively, out-rebounding the BayHawks 50-43 throughout the game, resulting in the Drive leading by as many as 24 overall. Withers closed out the third quarter by hitting a buzzer-beating three, adding onto the momentum the Drive maintained for the rest of the night.

Both teams will take a short break for the Thanksgiving holiday and will get right back to action this weekend. The BayHawks will head to Oshkosh, WI to face the Herd on Friday and the Drive will stay home to host the Texas Legends on Saturday night at DeltaPlex Arena. Both games will tip at 7 p.m.
