Kings Send 2022 Third-Round Pick and 2023 First-Round Pick to Maine
Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced that they have traded their third-round pick in the 2022 G League Draft and a first-round pick in the 2023 G League Draft to the Maine Celtics in exchange for the returning player rights to Deonte Burton.
Burton spent the 2021-22 season with the Maine Celtics where he appeared in 32 games (31 starts), averaging 15.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 50.5 percent from the field. Over the course of two seasons, Burton saw action in 71 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2018-2020.
The trade is not subject to physicals.
