
Stingrays Receive Forward Justin Maylan from Stockton

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that the team has received forward Justin Maylan from the Stockton Thunder. The transaction completes the future considerations portion of the Cam Brodie/Shawn Weller trade made on January 25, 2013.
Maylan, 22, skated in 49 games with the Thunder last season scoring 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points. Prior to turning pro, the Calgary, Alberta, native completed a five-year junior career in the WHL with the Moose Jaw Warriors, Prince George Cougars and Prince Albert Raiders totaling 254 points (87 goals, 167 assists) in 331 games.
