
Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Open Florida Road Trip Tonight against Solar Bears

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays kickoff a three-game in three-day Florida road trip and look to continue a season-high 10-game winning streak tonight against the Orlando Solar Bears at 7:00 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Tonight is the ninth of 11 meetings between the two East-Division rivals.
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays are 4-2-1-1 against the Solar Bears this season and last collided in a pair of contests in Orlando last week with the Stingrays earning 4-2 and 5-2 victories on Tuesday and Wednesday. All time, the Stingrays are 15-5-3-3 vs. Orlando.
Winning Streak:
The Stingrays are on a season-high 10-game winning streak and outscored their opponents 46-14.
Picking Up Points:
Forwards Andrew Rowe and Derek DeBlois each enter the road trip on six-game point streaks. Rowe has four goals and nine assists for 13 points during the stretch while DeBlois holds three goals and seven assists for 10 points. Forward Rob Ricci is on a five-game point streak with five goals and three assists for eight points.

The Stingrays honor the men and women of the Armed Forces on Military Appreciation Night presented by APECS Aerospace Corporation, Precision Airparts Support Services, United Aeronautical Corporation, U.S. Technical and Heritage Pools on Saturday, March 14 at 7:05 p.m. at the Coliseum. WCW and WWE Champion Ric Flair will fire up the crowd as the Stingrays skate in special "Stars and Stripes" jerseys and auction them off after the contest.
